Spectrum Noir October Challenge

I saw this October challenge for using flowers over here:

http://www.spectrumnoir.com/october-challenge-inspiration-flowers/.

I needed a sympathy card, so here is what I made:

It was based on a card from the book "A Year of Flowers" by Melanie Muenchinger.  Here is a link:  http://melaniemuenchinger.blogspot.com/p/my-book.html.

I used the A Year of Flowers stamp set from Gina K.  I used Spectrum Noir markers CG2 and DG2 for the leaves and PP1 and PL1 for the flowers.  The cardstock is from miscellaneous sources and I used a Stampin UP! sentiment and pearl dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting!!

  1. That card is beautiful! Great coloring! I've started stamping and coloring myself lately. It's so much fun! :)

  2. Thanks! It's taken me awhile to get good at coloring. I really had to study the techniques over for awhile. I also learned a lot from using the Spectrum Noir markers in addition to Copics.
